halfway home
so it's crazy how 3 weeks has flown by so quickly. the people who are here for the 2nd 3 week session just arrived this morning & are all moving in and whatnot. and i got to talk to my new neighbors today & i was telling them about how to do laundry, where to go grocery shopping, how to get to class, etc. makes me feel smart :)
but anyways, it's good to be back in copenhagen. even though i've only lived here for 2 weeks, it just felt kind of like home when i stepped off that plane. it's so familiar & nice. london & brussels was fun though! run down of the 2 trips.
london:
+ the tube!
+ i love this city in general
- going to museum for the entire day & not really getting to see the city
+ fish & chips!
+ windsor castle
+ british accents!
overall: A!
brussels:
- dirty city
- creepy guys who openly stare at you as you walk down the road
+ BELGIAN WAFFLES. 'nuff said.
+ good beer
- sucky public transportation system [they have much to learn from transport for london! heehee]
+ chocolate factory! [belgian chocolate = amazing]
overall: C+ [i didnt really like brussels if you cant tell...haha]
i have quite a number of friends who only did the 1st 3 week session so that means that they're currently on a plane back to america. and saying goodbye & seeing them leave kinda made me a little homesick. sometimes i feel like ive been here FOREVER already & sometimes it seems as if the 3 weeks has flown by so quickly. i wish i could go home for like...a weekend & come back to copenhagen. that'd be nice :) but overall, it's been superb! starting my human trafficking class on monday which i am very excited about. it'll be a really different/interesting class, i think.
i really should write more. im already forgetting stuff that i've done. :(
